Although wide Eucalyptus camaldulensis plantation as a natural niche of Cryptococcus neoformans has been present in our country, the isolation of the yeast is lower than expected. In this study, newer Eucalyptus seed-based broth has been studied and optimized for growth dynamics of C.neoformans and C.gattii. Standard cryptococci strains growth dynamics have been evaluated in broth mediums separately prepared from ten different South-West Anatolian localization's eucalypts. While C.neoformans serotip A has been growing all broth mediums, other strains have been partially inhibited some localizations' medium. As a result; further studies are required to better characterize the anti-cryptococcal activities of different chemical agents in growing inhibited localizations' eucalypt seeds.
