In this study antibiotic susceptibilities of Gram negative rods isolated from blood cultures between December 2006-November
2007 were evaluated respectively. Escherichia coli was the most common isolated Gram negative rod while Pseudomonas
aeruginosa was the most common nonfermentative Gram negative rod. Resistance rates against ceftazidime and aztreonam
were found (37.2%, %40.2%) for E.coli, (%28.6, %38.4) for Klebsiella spp., (%26.1, %35.7) for Enterobacter spp.
respectively. High carbapenem resistance rates were found especially for Acinetobacter spp.
