Leishmaniasis is a zoonotic infection that occurs as a result of the bite of the female sandflies. Clinically, it
manifests in visceral (VL), cutaneous (CL) or mucocutaneous (MCL) forms. In our country, CL is more common
than VL. After receiving a large number of Syrian immigrants to our province, the disease, which was
sporadically seen, is now seen in all cities. Diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis are difficult in
immunocompromised patients. Pancreatitis and nephrotoxicity are commonly seen as side effects of drugs in
organ transplant patients. In this case, a reactive multiple lesion and ulcerated CL case is presented in a 62-yearold
male Syrian patient who had renal transplant, encountered for the first time in our region. The patient was
treated with liposomal amphotericin B and meglumine antimoniate. It is emphasized that CL should not be
overlooked in patients living in endemic areas and undergoing organ transplantation.
