Brucellosis is still an important infectious disease with high morbidity in Turkey. Anemia and trombocytopenia are the most common complications, but pancytopenia is a rare complication in chronic cases. A seventeen year-old male patient applied with fever, fatigue and chilling. The patient had splenomegali, fever and pancytopenia. In laboratory examination, diagnosis was established by blood culture and brucella tube agglutination test (1/320). The patient was treated with streptomycin 1 gr/day and doxiciclyne 200 mg/day for six weeks. In the course of the disease, fever decreased in 10th day and pancytopenia recovered in 45th day.
