Keywords: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, antimicrobial susceptibility

In this study, 255 of Pseudomanas aeruginosa strains isolated from various clinical samples of hospitalized patients, were investigated for their susceptibilities to aztreonam, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, cephotaxime, cephepime, piperacillin / tazobactam, imipenem and meropenem by using disc diffusion test. One hundred – twentyfive of the strains were isolated from wound, 50 from tracheal aspiration fluid, 45 from sputum, 35 from blood, 13 from urine, 2 from pleural effusion. Susceptibity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains to aztreonam, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, cephotaxime cephepime , piperacillin / tazobactam, imipenem and meropenem were % 48,8, % 45,17, % 20,82, % 36,73, % 60,67, % 61,69, and % 51,70 respectively.

The highest suspectibility rates in Pseudomanas aeruginosa strains were found to piperacillin / tazobactam, imipenem and meropenem respectively.
