In this study, it was investigated the effect of subminimal inhibitory concentrations (sub-MIC) of ciprofloxacin on the haemagglutination (HA) and mannose-resistant haemagglutination (MRHA) properties of uropathogenic Escherichia coli (E.coli) strains. Four E.coli strains were included in this study. In 1/2-1/16xMICs of ciprofloxacin, HA properties of E.coli were found positive. In two strains, MRHA properties were found (+) positive in 1/2xMIC and (+++) positive in the other sub-MICs. In other two strains MRHA was found (+++) positive in all sub-MICs. It was concluded that HA and MRHA properties were continued in sub- MICs of ciprofloxacin in all E.coli strains included this study.
